I was given 5 invite codes, probably because I had an account already during closed beta.
I checked and I don't have any problem with panels overlapping when I try to leave a comment, either to you or to my original entry. Perhaps it is a Firefox issue. Are you using an old version? If not, you can report the problem (http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/).
